Frequently Asked Questions….

Most people only purchase a kitchen once every 18 years so the decisions involved can be very stressful. Chandler’s has been designing, selling, and installing kitchens for 77 years. With our experience, we are here to make the process as easy as possible.

Q. Do you offer free estimates?

A. Yes. Free estimates and consultations are standard.

Q. Will someone come to my house to provide a quote?

A. Typically, we prefer that you visit one of our showrooms prior to a designer scheduling an at home visit. This gives you the opportunity to see our products and select a few options that you may like. After your initial visit, one of our designers will then schedule an at home consolation. This will allow them to see your space and take any required measurements.

Q. Do you provide drawings or design renderings free of charge?

A. Yes. Our designers will gladly work up a drawing and rendering of your potential dream kitchen to review with you free of charge. We do view these renderings as intellectual property belonging to Chandler’s and will retain all copies until the time of purchase.

Q. who installs for chandlers?

A. All of our installers are Chandler’s employees. This means that we use no subcontractors. This helps us keep control of the schedule and pricing resulting in fewer surprises for our customers. This does mean that there are some tasks that we are not able to provide but those would all be addressed up front prior to purchase. You of course also have the option of using your own contractor to complete the installation for you if you’d like. This is common practice on new builds.

Q. How long does installation take?

A. We complete the average kitchen install in 4-5 days depending on the scope of the project. There are many factors that go in to the timeline and all of those would be discussed with you prior to purchase. Our installers work in teams of 2 and typically arrive to your home by 8:30am.

Q. How long does it take for material to arrive?

A. This is another questions that has a few variables. Cabinets typically take 3-4 weeks to arrive depending on the manufacturer. Granite and quartz tops typically takes about 2 weeks from the time of purchase but this can fluctuate. Plastic laminate countertops typically arrive in 2-3 weeks and then may take up to 5 days to fabricate. If time is a factor we do offer 2 stock cabinets and 20 in stock plastic laminate countertop colors to choose from.
